Check-in and check-out

What time is check-in?

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM. Room payment and the city tax are due on arrival. Reception closes at night: if you expect to arrive after 8:00 PM, send us a WhatsApp message at +39 375 704 9900 and we’ll send you entry instructions for the hotel and the parking.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability — please ask at reception the evening before.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes. We offer free luggage storage, so you can enjoy the beach or explore Rimini before your room is ready or after you check out.

Beach and location

How far is the beach from the hotel?

Hotel Riva e Mare is about 30 metres from the beach (Bagno 10 “Vatikaki”), directly in front — roughly a 1-minute walk — with direct access.

Is there beach service, and is it included?

Yes. Rooms with beach service are available — one umbrella and two chairs at Bagno 10 “Vatikaki”, directly in front of the hotel — at a favourable rate, booked together with your room. It is not automatically included unless you choose a room-with-beach-service rate. Ask reception for current prices.

How far is Rimini city centre?

The bus stop is about 50 metres from the hotel and reaches Rimini centre in about 15 minutes; by car it’s 5–7 minutes. The historic centre (Piazza Cavour, Tiberius Bridge, Roman Amphitheatre) is about 2.5–3 km away.

How far are the train station, the exhibition centre and the airport?

Rimini railway station: about 3 km. Rimini Fiera (exhibition & congress centre): about 2.2 km. Federico Fellini Airport (RMI): about 9.1 km (~15 minutes by car). Bologna “Guglielmo Marconi” International Airport (BLQ) is about 120 km away.

Parking

Is parking available?

Yes, private parking is available (subject to availability), and an EV charging station is on site. Please mention parking when you book.

Breakfast

Is breakfast included?

Yes. A continental buffet breakfast is included in every rate and includes: hot drinks (coffee, cappuccino, tea), croissants and pastries, cold cuts and cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals and fruit juices.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served every morning from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.

Services and facilities

Is WiFi free?

Yes. High-speed WiFi is free in all rooms and throughout the hotel, with no time limits or extra charges.

Is there a bar at the hotel?

Yes. The hotel has a bar and a snack bar.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The hotel has a lift/elevator and a fully wheelchair-accessible ground-floor double room with a private entrance and step-free access to an outdoor garden seating area. Please let us know your needs when booking so we can reserve the most suitable accommodation.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes. All rooms have air conditioning.

Pets

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we welcome pets — one pet per room. The fee is €15 for the first night and €10 per night thereafter, to cover extra cleaning. We provide pet bowls and a pet basket. Please mention your pet when booking.

Children and families

Are children welcome?

Absolutely. Hotel Riva e Mare is very family-friendly: children of any age are welcome. The beach is about 30 metres away, with calm, shallow Adriatic water — safe for young children.

Is a cot available?

Yes, free cots are available on request for children aged 0–2. Please mention it when booking. (Note: a cot cannot be added in the Single Room or the ground-floor Double Room.)

Are extra beds available?

Yes, extra beds for older children are available on request. Charges may apply. Please ask when booking.

Payments and cancellation

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and the major credit cards. Room payment and the city tax are due on arrival.

What is the cancellation policy?

It depends on the rate you choose at booking: both flexible rates with free cancellation and non-refundable rates are available. Please check the conditions of your chosen rate when you reserve.
